For 2026 NCEES exams, the approved families include Casio models with “fx-115” or “fx-991” in the model name and Texas Instruments models with “TI-30X” or “TI-36X” in the model name. That places the TI-36X Pro, fx-991CW and fx-115ES Plus 2nd Edition inside the approved family naming rules. The Sharp model is not part of the NCEES whitelist. Always recheck NCEES before FE/PE exam day because the list is reviewed annually.
